If you’ve worked with us before, you may already know about our Digital Proposals (and how much they help our clients!). If not, read on to learn what a Digital Proposal is, what inspired us to create them, and how they benefit our client partners.

About Our Digital Proposals

Digital Proposals are exactly what they sound like: Proposals done digitally! Our clients have raved about how easy, organized, and impressive our proposals are, and how they’ve helped keep their construction logistics projects organized and on track.

Instead of clunky emailed documents or PDFs, our proposals come in the form of a live, designed website that clearly defines the scope of work, expectations, and logistics plan for your supply chain.

The Origin of the Digital Proposal

Before going digital, we received the details of a freight shipping project via a phone call. We would then take those details back to our team to discuss the project and assess pricing. Then, we would present this information to the client by phone or email.

This process was good, but not great.

We ran into some challenges. Typically, we’d present the proposal to one person—like the logistics coordinator, shipping manager, or project manager—but we found that, with important freight solutions and decisions, lots of eyes needed to see the proposal. With bigger clients, there were also a handful of other multi-million-dollar projects going on simultaneously.

Needless to say, there was a lot on the line.

With these big projects, there’s usually a logistics manager, project manager, and a couple of project engineers. And when it comes to supply chain, all of these key players have different concerns. Supply chain managers are all about timing. Project managers want their client—the general contractor—to always have material available so construction never slows down. And project engineers are concerned about product safety, security, and experience on-site.

Although the old form of our proposals addressed all of these concerns, the logistics manager was burdened with relaying all this information to the other key members of the supply chain. Understandably, we found that important information relevant to others wasn’t thoroughly or accurately relayed.

Enter the Digital Proposal.

We could’ve just settled with a standard PDF, but we’re different. Just doing the norm doesn’t sit well with us, especially when we see an opportunity to do things better.

That’s why we put our creativity to work (with help from our in-house software developers) to create simple, easy-to-read, and effective Digital Proposals in the form of a website. You can check one out here.

What Our Digital Proposal Does

Our Digital Proposal demonstrates our understanding of the logistics, displays renderings of the proposed project outcome, and presents our freight solution. It is a simple, yet effective, proposal for any key player to get the information they need at-a-glance, and since it is a website, it’s easily shareable.

In the Digital Proposal, we also include:

  • Project Summary
  • The Vision
  • Freight Shipping Solution
  • Pricing

Many of our clients have been so impressed with our Digital Proposal that they’ve asked to share it with their client, the general contractor. In those cases, we’re able to easily make modifications, like removing pricing details or adding a delivery schedule. That way, the Digital Proposal can act as a logistics management site as well.

We’re flexible and happy to customize our Digital Proposals based on what our clients need and project scope.

The Benefits of a Digital Proposal

The Digital Proposal is one organized place that shows how we’d handle the supply chain and implement the freight solution. We understand that your reputation and ours go hand in hand, which is why we’re passionate about making you the hero.

We put just as much attention, detail, creativity, and thoughtfulness into our proposals as we do our work.

Why?

Because how you do one thing is how you do everything—and that reflects in each and every component of what we do.
